| Hi, I just had a 2-week holiday in Egypt during Christmas. You do need a visa from Egyptian embassy from your staying country. Don't try to get the visa in Cairo airport, it's not possible for Chinese passport holder. We verified it this time in the airport.

It takes about 1-2 months to get the visa.
